The SETAs (Sector Education & Training Authorities) have been re-established for another 10 years, from 1 April 2020 – 31 March 2030.

The only exception to this is for the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA seta) which was only re-established for another 2 years, until 31 March 2022.

In conclusion: Training and Skills Development in South-Africa will continue as we know it today.
